Dr. Behrouz Bakhtiari

Assistant Professor / Director of the MBA Programs / Director, Blended Learning Part-Time MBA Program 

Faculty: Operations Management 

Dr. Behrouz Bakhtiari earned his PhD in Management Science from the DeGroote School of Business. His research interests include supply chain management, supply chain analytics, and the application of game theory in operations. He teaches courses in statistics, operations management, and simulation for business analytics.

Dr. Nooshin Salari

Assistant Professor

Faculty: Operations Management 

Dr. Nooshin Salari is an Assistant Professor at the DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University. She previously held roles at the University of Alberta, University of Oxford, UC Berkeley, and the Rotman School of Management. Her research focuses on data-driven decision-making in supply chains and large-scale optimization, with work published in top journals.

Dr. Benson Honig

Professor / Director, Centre for Research on Community Oriented Entrepreneurship (CRCE) / Business Research Chair

Faculty: Human Resources and Management 

Dr. Benson Honig is a Professor and Endowed Chair in Human Resources and Management at the DeGroote School of Business. He directs the Centre for Research on Community-Oriented Entrepreneurship and co-founded the Reframery, a virtual incubator supporting marginalized entrepreneurs. His research spans entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, social capital, organizational theory, and ethics in scholarship. Internationally recognized for his work promoting inclusive and resilient economies, Dr. Honig has published widely and secured over $2.4 million in research funding.

Dr. Manish Verma

Professor / Associate Dean, Graduate Studies

Faculty: Operations Management

Dr. Manish Verma is a Professor of Operations Management at the DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University. He holds an MBA and PhD from McGill University. His research focuses on freight transportation safety, humanitarian logistics, green supply chains, and transportation network resilience. Supported by NSERC and SSHRC grants, his work appears in top transportation and operations research journals. Dr. Verma is a recognized expert on multimodal transport of dangerous goods and has been featured in media for his insights on rail accidents and risk assessment in logistics systems.

Dr. Baniyelme Zoogah

Professor / Area Chair, Human Resources and Management

Faculty: Human Resources and Management

Dr. Baniyelme D. Zoogah is a Professor at the DeGroote School of Business. He explores development issues at the intersection of individuals, organizations, and societies, with a focus on the African context. His research spans strategic alliance management, environmental sustainability, strategic followership, and management history. Notable contributions include his work on alliance mental models, green HRM behaviors, and the theorization of strategic followership. He has published two books and received the Journal of Management History Award in 2022. Dr. Zoogah’s interdisciplinary work bridges macro and micro domains using diverse methodologies.

Paul Tedesco is a 25-year marketing industry veteran and Managing Director of Track DDB North America, a leading digital and analytics agency. He specializes in using data, technology, and analytics to drive value creation and customer engagement. An MBA graduate from McMaster University’s DeGroote School of Business, Paul has taught Marketing at the MBA and EMBA levels for over 15 years, with a focus on brand management, customer value creation, and data-driven strategies. His work centers on helping organizations build more efficient and connected experiences for both customers and employees.
